Sri Lanka Institute of Printing receives ISO 9001: 2008 for its highest

Sri Lanka Institute of Printing (SLIOP)the pioneer professional body committed to the advancement of knowledge, skills and expertise in the Print an Digital Arts Industry in Sri Lanka has been awarded with SLS ISO : 9002:2008 Certification from the Sri Lanka Standard Institute (SLSI) for its highest standards in Design, Development and Conducting of Printing, Graphics and Multi Media Programmes in Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lanka Institute of Printing has been maintaining highest standards in Graphic Art Education in Sri Lanka currently offering the highest qualification to the Printing Industry.

The SLIOP has been serving the Printing & Graphic Arts Industry during the past 3 decades providing the best education and training facilities to the Digital & Graphic Arts community in Sri Lanka. The SLIOP has been the trend setter to the Industry with continuous support towards the technological developments to meet the modern demands of the industry. These have has been recognized by the Sri Lanka Standard Institute.

Sri Lanka Institute of Printing (SLIOP) was established by an Act of Parliament in 1984 and is functioning under the Ministry of Skills Development and Vocational Training is an organization devoted to the furtherance of scientific and technical education, and the ever widening knowledge and skills needed to excel in the field of Printing & Digital Arts. The Institute is totally dedicated to strengthen the work of all practitioners within the field through capacity building and updating of knowledge.

The SLIOP is conducting coursers from Certificate levels to Advanced Diploma levels programmes in Digital and Print Media Technology including NVQ level programmes.

The SLIOP Advanced Diploma Programmes are being conducted in collaboration with the University of Colombo and is considered as a pre requisite to enter the MBA programme conducted by the same University.
